First post!

First blog, first post :) I've been into nailpolish for quite some years, I started wearing it around the age of 11. When I was 15 years old I started to experimentate a little with nailart designs, simple stuff such as some dots or wiggly zebra stripes. At has never gotten much better after that. A few months ago I started reading some nailpolish blogs, I was inspired by how perfect some peoples nails look, same with the nailpolish on them. I don't think I'll ever be that good.
For me this is a huge hobby. I get really excited about nailpolish and everything that has to do with it, unfortunately no one around me shares that enthousiasm about it. Now I have a blog to let it all out :)

A few days ago I went shopping in Germany, which I haven't done in a while, even though it's just a ten minute drive to the border and they sell some brands that I haven't seen in Holland yet. So here's the haul:

Artdeco polishes 88, 90, 93, 65 and their matte topcoat.


I also got my hands on Catrice Sold out forever, the 'Chanel Jade dupe'. I was really happy, I've look around for Jade, which is available on Ebay for like $250. I think the Artdeco 88 looks really a lot like it! I wish I had Jade to compare them too..

I got two colors of Essence's Demin Wanted trend edition. Fivepocket grey and Forever mine. The Colour & Go is White secret and I have no idea what the purple nail art polish is called.


Two nail art pens by Uma. These have a small brush and a pen ^^


And a quick drying black and a cuticle remover by Manhattan.


I have tried the cuticle remover on my toenails, so no pics :P So, it did work. While I was letting it soak in I felt a little tingling, it was doing it's job. After a little while I was able to push back my cuticles without any effort. But I do not have any product yet to compare this to.

And this morning my package arrived from Viis.ee. A webshop from Estonia that sells Nfu Oh! Here's what I got:

#52 from the Opal series, #107 from the Chameleon series and the aqua base.


#63 and #65 from the Hologram series.


The first thing that excited me about these polishes is the most gorgeous polishbottle ever! The top is a decorated corset and the bottle itself is a draped skirt.




I tried the Hologram ones on my colorwheel and fell in love right away! They apply so easy and just two coats gives full coverage. And I looove the colors!


And here's the opal #52 applied over a black base. It's a blue/purple base with green flakes in it. To wear this one on it's own you'll need quite a few coats for full coverage and this one is a bit tricky to apply.
However I love the effect, the difference in colors in different kinds of light. In the sun the green flakes really pop out:


In natural light indoors the blue base shows more


My pictures really don't do justice to the beautiful colors that are all put together in one bottle.
I really want to get more colors of the Opal series. And also a lot more of Nfu Oh in general, I really fell in love.. But it'll have to wait until the next paycheck arrives. Cause today I ordered some Eyeko polishes ^^ I ordered them from Eyeko's site, which always ships free if you live in the UK or EU! I found out about them this morning on Glynsnails. The stickers on the bottles all have comepletely different and very cute designs!
